Harold David Locker, 75, of the Coldwater Community passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023, at his residence.

He was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee, on Oct. 2, 1947, to the late Charles and Hattie Lucy Davis Locker. Harold was one of 12 children, six boys and six girls.

Mr. Locker was a farmer his entire life, having been an employee of H.H. Stevenson for several years and then working for Coldwater Farms since 1972. He was a member of Coldwater United Methodist Church. He married his wife Joyce Lee Kent Locker in 1967 and they were married for 53 years until she passed away in 2020. Together they had four children, three boys and one girl.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by one son, Christopher Lee Locker; sisters, Zella B. McBay, Rita Faye Bryant and Geraldine Pirtle; and brothers, William Lee Locker, Lee W. Locker, Billy Wayne Locker, Donald Ray Locker and James Terry Locker.

Mr. Locker is survived by his daughter, Patsy Jane (Thomas) King of Taft, Tennessee; sons, David Wayne (Julianne) Locker of Fayetteville, Tennessee and Tony Dale (Diane) Locker of Taft, Tennessee; eight grandchildren, Christy (Ben) Counts, Nathan King, Matthew Locker, Caleb Locker, Joshua (Jessica) Locker, Holly (Eric) Bartlett, Niki Peyton and Hannah (Nathan) Mallon; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Locker Dunn Sandlin, Joann Locker Jett and Jennie Marie (Clyde) Thompson; and a host of friends and the entire Coldwater Community where he resided for more than 55 years.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at the Coldwater United Methodist Church with the Rev. Allen Shedd officiating. Burial followed in Carter Hills Cemetery
