Connie Louise Johnson, 62, of New Market, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2023, at her residence.

She was born Jan. 26, 1961, in Lincoln County, Tennessee, daughter of the late Buford Mitchell and Marjorie Lewter Mitchell. She worked for Nextek Technology and was a member of the Gum Springs Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers: Morris Mitchell and Thomas Mitchell.

She is survived by her husband, Jackie Johnson; daughters, Jennifer (Bryan) Warmath and Nicole Carter; step-daughter, Treva (Doug) Newton; step-son, Jimmy Johnson; grandchildren, Andrea Warmath, Kylie Warmath, Dylan Cottingham, Landon Cottingham, Leland Cottingham, Matthew Pruitt, and Wesley Bennett; and great-grandchild, Lucas Pruitt.

Funeral services were Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with the Rev. Winfred Stayton officiating. Burial followed in Gum Springs Cemetery.
