Charles Edwin Norman Obituary
Charles Edwin Norman, 85, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, Jan. 20, 2023, at his residence. He was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee, on Aug. 10, 1937, son of the late John Alvin and Mozelle Morton Norman. He was a former supervisor at Elk Cotton Mill, later worked for Standard Furniture, and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Norman; brother, Ray Norman; and step-great-grandchild, Paxton May.
Mr. Norman is survived by his wife, Nell Norman; son, Mike (Patti) Norman; step-daughter, Sheila (Dale) May; sister, Brenda (Paul) Smith; grandchild, Justin (Claudia) Norman; step-grandchildren, Shawn (Hosa) Dominquez, Jeromy (Stacey) Rogers, Amanda (Wesley) Blanton, Kenneth (Kendall) May, Kevin May and Daniel May; great grandchildren, Tinley Norman, Tucker Norman, Claire May, Colleen May, Kevin May, Kaylea May, Aria May, Peyton May and Reese May; nephews, Randy (Lisa) Norman and Corey (Bridgette) Smith; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2023, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Ryan Hodge officiating. Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery.
