Wesley ‘Earl’ Thorpe, 44, of Frankewing, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2023, in Limestone County, Alabama.

He was born Feb. 28, 1978, in Lincoln County, Tennessee, to Laura Allen Thorpe and the late Thomas Earl Thorpe.

He worked in the logging industry.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his nephew, Phillip Neal.

Mr. Thorpe is survived by his mother, Laura Thorpe; daughter, Amber Thorpe (Patrick Knott, II) Knott; grandchildren, Brooklynn Wilson, Christopher Wilson, Thomas Wilson, Asher Wilson, and Patrick Knott; sisters, Angie (Perry) Neal, Sandra (Billy) Woodward, and Belinda Davis; brother, Tommy Dale (Diane) Thorpe; nieces: Heather (Randy) Brannon, Brittany Davis, Ashley (Brandy) Kocisko, and Haley Woodward; nephews: Ryan (Tori) Thorpe, Sean (Brooke) Thorpe, Joey Neal, and Jacob (Kayla) Bagby; great nieces, Allie Thorpe and Rose Thorpe; great nephews, Hunter Thorpe and Chase Davis; close friend, Peter Wilson, and special friend, Mary Brown.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Jan. 15, 2023, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Doug Allen Officiating. Burial followed in Wrights Cemetery.
