Josephine E. McCloud Obituary

Josephine E. McCloud, 100, formerly of Nashville, but has been residing in Fayetteville, passed away Thursday, Dec. 15, 2022, in Fayetteville.

She was born April 8, 1922, in Portland, Tennessee.

Josephine worked for Metro Government for several years, was a member of the Baptist faith, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, once serving as Worthy Matron. She loved bowling, fishing, and attending concerts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey McCloud; parents, Thomas and Laura Morrow; son-in-law, Richard Sanders; grandchildren, Jessup and Wade Donnell; siblings, Sadie Love, Mary Lee Carver, Ruby Osteen, Bessie Hendricks, and John T. Morrow.

She was survived by her children, Pat McCloud, Brenda (Gilbert) Donaldson, and Margaret Sanders; grandchildren, Dwayne (Alice) Donaldson, Kim (Chris) Donnell, Steven (Annie) Sanders, and Todd (Kelley) Sanders; great-grandchildren, Tyler (Kaitlyn) Donaldson, Rachael (Matthew) Pennycuff, Blake and Shawn Donnell, Stephanie, Joanna, and Hailey Sanders; great great-grandchildren, Tristan, Landon, Insley, and Gavin Donnell, Wynonna Elkins, and Levi Donaldson; brother, Bobby Gene Morrow, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 30, 2022, at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home in Nashville with Brother Danny Everette officiating. Interment followed at Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville.
