The owner of Big C Rock and Mulch LLC says the Fayetteville location has all your landscaping needs and offers delivery based on number of scoops within 20 miles of its location. Owner Koby Chandler said he has been around the construction world all his life. Plans to open his own business began formulating “a couple of years ago. I originally thought of opening in Meridianville, Alabama, with all the growth taking place there,” he said. “Then this site came open.”

Located at 708 Main Avenue South next to SRM Concrete, Big C Rock and Mulch LLC opened in mid-March. Chandler said the business has been well received and has been busy with people working on landscaping, whether new or in need of updating.

Inventory includes flagstone, stone veneer, cobblestone, edging stone, bench or centerpiece boulders, river rock — great for garden beds, — pea gravel, driveway rock, sand, screened topsoil, 50/50 mix of manure and topsoil, mulch by the scoop and bagged, bagged manure compost, potting soil and more. Pricing is by the scoop or bag. Big C also has cedar raised planter beds.

Free delivery is provided with the purchase of four or more scoops within 20 miles of its location. And, if you buy more than what your vehicle will hold, you can also rent a trailer to transport your purchases and return it the same day.

“We offer free estimates,” Chandler said. Although Big C doesn’t do the actual landscape work, Chandler said he can make recommendations for those who do.
