Town of Petersburg elects new mayor and vice mayor
Judge J.B. Cox administered the oath of office to Kevin Coffield as he begins his two-year term as Petersburg mayor. The aldermen elected Coffield by secret ballot to be the town’s next mayor. Charles Gatlin was elected as vice mayor and was also administered the oath of office by Judge Cox.
