Floyd Newton Swinford, 82, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022, at the Alvin C. York Veterans Administration Medical Center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

He was born on June 26, 1940, in Lincoln County, Tennessee.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, 2023, in Miller Cemetery in New Market, Alabama, with Bro. Jason Caldwell officiating. Visitation will from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home.
