Pearline (Penny) Stafford passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023, in Fayetteville, Tennessee.

A native of Madison County, Alabama, she is the daughter of the late Lottie Mai Bolden and Cleveland Stinnett, Sr. She attended Christian Fellowship Church.

Her last job was manager of the fabric/craft department at Walmart for 23 years. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, reading, and TV.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Stafford; baby daughter, Lorie; brothers, Joe Stinnett, Cleveland Stinnett Jr.; and sister, Mildred Stafford Greene.

She is survived by her son, Mickey and wife Cammie of Fayetteville; daughter, Sandee Stafford of Granbury, Texas; grandchildren, Caleb Stafford of Fayetteville, Carla MacDonald of Fayetteville, Jarred (Crissy) Stafford of Granbury, Texas, and Jacob (Cassie) Bethune of Granbury, Texas; sister, Ann Jett of Huntsville, Alabama; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 01 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 or Junior’s House, 704 W. Maple Street, Fayetteville, TN 37334.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with her nephew, Mark Stinnett, officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1-2 p.m. Burial will follow in Charity Cemetery in Hazel Green, Alabama.
