Wilma Jo Johnson, 86, of Belvidere, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at her home. S

he was born on Dec. 15, 1936, in Tyronza, Arkansas, daughter of the late Henry and Lillie Mae Croxton Schmidt.

Mrs. Johnson was always ready to join in adventures and had a wonderful outlook on life.

She is survived by her nieces, Lisa Benson, Carolyn (Delbert) Bohm, Sherry Whitsett, Sarah Glossup, Glenda (Hugh) Higgins, Brenda (Robert) Darr, Mary (Michael) Geeslin, Joyce Taylor, Toni White, Veronica (David) Ervin, Yvette (Jerry) Anderton, Regina Armstrong, and Melissa (Tim) Meeks; and nephews, Donald Johnson, Gary (Donna) Hawkins, Danny (Angie) Schmidt, Derrick Schmidt, David (Jean) Johnson, and Jay (Sharron) Hawkins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry & Lillie Mae Croxton Schmidt; and husband, Woodrow Johnson.

Funeral services were held Sunday, May 21, 2023, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Jenkins officiating. A burial followed in Gatlin Cemetery.
