Anthony Todd Jones, 54, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital in Tullahoma, Tennessee.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. David England and Grady Wright officiating. Burial was Saturday at Short Cemetery.

Todd was born March 4, 1969, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Albert Sam and Linda King Jones. He was a graduate of Waverly High School and was of the Baptist faith. Todd worked as a heavy equipment operator for Wright Paving and was known as “The Roller Guy.” Never one to sit still, he was always working and loved to mow grass and detail vehicles.

Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Trudy Jones; children, Dylan Jones (Katy Gold) of Smyrna, Tristan Jones of Atlanta, GA, Blake Jones of Fayetteville, and Shelby (Justin) Burchett of Gulf Shores, AL; grandson, Cohen Burchett; brother, Sam Jones; sister, Abby (Keith) Bacey; and his Wright Paving Family, extended family members, and friends. Todd was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Sam and Linda King Jones; and his mother-in-law, Carol Brown.
