Fannie Ruth Buchanan, 85, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2023, at Donalson Care Center.

She was born Aug. 8, 1938, in Giles County, Tennessee, daughter of the late Matthew Pullen and Ruby Inman Pullen. She was a former cook at Lincoln County High School.

Mrs. Buchanan is survived by her daughters, Reba Buchanan and Donna Buchanan (Shane Cantrell); sons, William David (Connie) Buchanan and Henry Norris (Denise) Buchanan; numerous grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Linda (Everlee) Drake and Brenda (Ronnie) Goodrich; and brothers-in-law, David (Joyce) Buchanan and Gilbert Kibble.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Sept. 17, 2023, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home. Burial followed in Pleasant View Cemetery.
