Fred “Big John” Ellis, 76, of Fayetteville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023, at Crestwood Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama. He was born in Blytheville, Arksansas on Dec. 27, 1946.

A celebration of life was held Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023, at the Fayetteville Church of God with the Rev. Ron Wood officiating.
