Juanita Belle Reavis Bills Obituary

Juanita Belle Reavis Bills, 87, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away peacefully in her sleep after being surrounded by family on Nov. 27, 2023 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee, on Dec. 17, 1935. Our beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. Preceded in death by her parents, Grady W. Reavis and Evelyn Coble; her husband, Charlie F. Bills; and her brothers, Grady Marshall Reavis and Steve Reavis; bonus siblings, Gary and Jimmy Hardison, Nancy McCullough, and Ann Cochran. She is survived by sister, Aletha Reavis Crabtree; her three children – Barbara Davis (Steve), Ronnie Bills (Karen) and Dawn McDannald (David); bonus sisters, Wilma McNutt, and Carolyn Jones; nine grandchildren; three bonus grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. Juanita retired from Ingram Book Entertainment after 27 years. She was an active member of the church of Christ all her life. She taught 5-year-olds for over 30 years, was a part of visitations groups, and Teachers Too. She showed her family love by her love of cooking and sewing. She cooked many meals solely to feed the large family she created. She made quilts for all nine grandchildren and her three children, which we all cherish. She served as President of the Rutherford County Council F.C.E. club and was an active member for many years. Her legacy of love will live on in the lives she touched. Funeral services were conducted by Wayne Cornwell and Ron Kleine on Friday, Dec. 1, 2023, at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road. Interment was at Lone Oak Cemetery, Lewisburg, Tennessee.
