Joseph “Joey” Patrick McNeal, 55, of Flintville, Tennessee, passed away Friday, Feb. 16, 2024, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024, at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Derrick Moose officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday at Higgins Funeral Home.

Joey was born on July 4, 1968, in Fayetteville, Tennessee, to Joe Earl McNeal and Barbara Ann Holt McNeal. He was a 1986 graduate of Lincoln County High School and was of the Baptist Faith. Joey and Sharon established 431 Nutrition in September of 2020. He also worked for Nissan in Decherd. Joey was an avid antiques collector and a skilled tradesman. Joey always had projects from woodworking to remodeling the family home. He loved spending time with his family bow hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Sharon Burton McNeal; children, Hanna McNeal, Houston McNeal, Jake Pendergrass, and Jayden McNeal; grandson, Elijah Blake McNeal; sister, Gina (Darryl) Osborn; sister-in-law, Juanita (Joe) Taylor; and a brother-in-law, Derrick (Carla) Burton.
