Robert ‘Bobby’ Venson Whitted, 85, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024, at St. Thomas West Hospital. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on March 11, 1938, son of the late William Lucas and Lossie Whitted. He was a former employee of the Hillsboro County, Florida, Water Department and was a deacon and faithful member of the West End Baptist Church.

Mr. Whitted is survived by his wife, Carole Parker Whitted; daughter, Candy Parker Watt (Troy); grandchildren, Jacqueline Page, Kinnie Parker, Logan Pierce, and Taylor Bishop; great-grandchildren, Alexis Farve Williams and Parker Page; sisters, Glenda (Robert) Little and Elaine Harris; and host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2024, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Robert Little Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Wednesday.
