Allen “Glen” Rozar Obituary

Allen “Glen” Rozar of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed this life on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, Tennessee at the age of 86..

Graveside services were held Friday, April 12, 2024, at Booneville Cemetery in Fayetteville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gideon International or Alive Hospice.

A native of Lincoln County, Tennessee, he is the son of the late Gill and Carrie Faulkner Rozar.

Glen was a farmer and enjoyed working with the land. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church in Belleville, Tennessee. Glen was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Dusenberry Rozar, and they shared approximately 63 years together before her passing in 2020. Along with his parents and his wife, Glen was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Rozar.

His survivors include his children, Gary (Charlotte) Rozar, Jamie (Mary) Rozar, Rita (Aaron) Sito, Karen (Jim) Hamilton and Renee (Scott Stidham) Smith; grandchildren, Jason (Brittany) Rozar, Jennifer (Jonathan) Smith, Diane (Daniel) McGarry, Emily (Tim) Zimmer, Stephanie (Lee) Wolaver, Jill (Josh) Sito, Megan (Bryan) Dodd, Makenzi Smith and Rebecca Rozar. Glen is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.

Lynchburg Funeral Home is assisting the family and is in charge of arrangements.
