James Bryant Fitch, 86, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2024. He was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee, on July 3, 1938, to the late Roy Gilliam Fitch and Cora May Andrews Fitch. James was a member of the Fayetteville ARP Church and he enjoyed photography and bluegrass music. He worked for Chrysler Corporation for 35 years before retiring. He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Dwight Fitch; grandson, Bradley Fitch; and brothers, Howard Fitch and Charles Fitch.

Mr. Fitch is survived by his wife of 66 years, Wanda Bain Fitch; daughter, Demetra Hill; son, Dwayne (Patricia) Fitch; grandchildren, Ryan (Cynthia) Fitch, Brady (Haley) Fitch, Josh Lewter, Tayler (Cody) Gaskill, Ragen Cook (Blake Presley), Austin Cashion and Teela Fitch; and his sister, Linda (Fred) Welch.

Graveside services were held on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2024, in Lincoln Cemetery with Pastor Seth Philbrick officiating and Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home in charge.
