Barbara Fay Roland, age 80, of Flintville, Tennessee, passed away on Dec. 16, 2024, at HH Lincoln Health.

Funeral services were held on Friday, Dec. 20, 2024, at Higgins Funeral Home with Pastor Winford Stayton officiating. Burial followed in the Lebanon Cemetery.

Barbara was born on Feb. 2, 1944, in Franklin County, Tennessee, to the late Forrest Leon Hall and Maggie May Rogers Hall, was a dedicated Christian and a cherished member of Gum Springs Baptist Church. She deeply loved her church family and found joy in worshiping alongside them. Barbara also treasured the moments spent with her family.

Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Sweeton (Fred) Smith, and Melissa Sweeton (Kerry) McCool; step-daughter, Mary (Ronnie) Watts; grandchildren, Tristin McBurnett, and Camry Medez; sister, Teresa Bell Hall Roberts; brother, Roger (Debbie) Hall; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Roland; daughter, Pamela Kay Anderson; sister, Judy Ann Hall Keller; and brothers-in-law, Harold Keller, and Mike Roberts.
