SMSgt Arthur David Doyle, US Air Force (Ret.), 91, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away on Jan. 18, 2025, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Graveside services were held on Sunday, Jan, 26, 2025, at Prospect Cemetery.

SMSgt Doyle, known as Pops, was born June 22, 1933, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, to the late Luther Bell and Iva Dee Sherrod Bell. He was a 1951 graduate of Dyersburg High School and served 25 years in the US Air Force.

Survivors include his children, David Wayne (Jacqueline) Doyle of LaVergne, Tennessee, and Cynthia Lynne (Jeff) Gentry of the Boonshill Community; grandchildren, Jeffrey Adam (Radina) Gentry, Lindsey Rose Doyle, and Samantha Nicole Halloran; and great-grandchildren, Luke, Owen, Tate, and Bennett Gentry; and sister in-law, Judy Adams. In addition to his parents, Mr. Doyle was preceded in death by his wife, Kitty Jean Doyle; grandson, Mark David Blevins; and sister, Wilma Elzetta Sparks.
