Dean Piper Ball Obituary
Dean Piper Ball, 83, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, died peacefully at home with his wife by his side on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025.
He was born to Kenneth Francis Ball and Shirley Frances Ball on Aug. 25, 1941 in Santa Paula, California.
Preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Judith, he is survived by his wife of 38 years, Roberta; his son, Gordon Ball (Lesa); daughter, Sarah Ball; daughter, Elisabeth Fain (Brian); son, Jonathan Ball (Mery); and daughter, Laura Ball; nine grandchildren, Dennis, Shane, Nadia, Jesse, Lyric, Summer, Jude, Colton and Sofia; two sisters, Inga Frick and Glenda Pace; numerous cousins; and too many friends to count.
His unwavering faith and deep religious convictions were the cornerstone of his being. He was a steadfast member of the Jehovah’s Witness community, dedicating his life to his spiritual beliefs and in service to others.
Dean lived in several states throughout his life, including Oregon, California, Arizona, Texas and Tennessee, leaving a lasting impact on everyone he encountered. His kindness, sense of humor, wisdom, and gentle spirit will be remembered by the many people whose lives he enriched along the way.
In his passing, we mourn the loss of a remarkable man, but we also celebrate the life he led — one filled with love, faith, and devotion to those he held dear. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He loved and was loved deeply.
A memorial service was held Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Fayetteville, Tennessee, Kingdom Hall.
