Elder Robert Harless Hale, 89, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Hospice Family Care. He was born on March 27, 1936, in Madison County, Alabama, son of the late Robert Hershell Hale and Lillie Ricketts Hale. Elder Hale was a retired foreman at Barbara Coleman and dedicated many years to serving as the pastor of Mt. Fork Primitive Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Hale; second wife, Ruth Hale; and brother, Larry D. Hale.

Mr. Hale is survived by his sons, Max Curtis Hale (Nancy) of New Hope, Alabama, Dexter Arnold Hale (Kathy) of Huntsville, Alabama, and Darryl Gene Hale (Shelia) of Huntsville, Alabama; grandchildren, Jennifer Jones, Jason Hale, Jennifer Penney, Jacob Hale, Jessica Christensen, Alicia Kelly, Anna Hale, Jennifer Pinkerton, and John Honea; 22 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and nephews, Scott Hale, Adam Hale, Matthew Hale, and Kevin Hale.

Graveside services were conducted on Saturday, April 19, 2025, in Miller Cemetery with the Rev. Jacob Hale officiating and Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
