Fred Morgan Currey Jr., 83, of Flintville, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025, at Manchester Center for Rehab. He was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee, on Aug. 10, 1941, son of the late Fred Morgan Currey Sr. and Ruby Elizabeth Reid Currey. Mr. Currey was a member of the Flintville First Baptist Church and was a member of the Loyal Order Moose Lodge #1007.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Misty Sue Shelton; and brother-in-law, Clyde Womack.

Survivors include his sons, Eddie (Sarah) Currey and Troy Currey; grandchildren, Cody Lynn Shelton, Laura Elizabeth Currey, Marcie Currey, Angela Morgan (Shane) Echols and Jaida Shelton; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Barbara Jean Womack.

A graveside service was held Monday, June 2, 2025, in Flintville Cemetery with the Rev. Josh Moran officiating and Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
