Jack Edgar Martin passed away June 17, 2025, at his home in Anamoose, North Dakota. He was 83 years old.

Jack was born April 7, 1942, in Lincoln County, Tennessee, to John Will Martin and Emma English Martin. He was the youngest of 17 children, 10 boys and seven girls. He was a graduate of Blanche School and Athens State College and he served eight years in the United States Air Force.

After retiring from the Boeing company in 2004, he enjoyed raising horses, deer hunting, riding motorcycles and Tennessee football.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and 16 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy; stepchildren, Rob (Cathy) Esterling, Rick (Beth) Esterling and Marla (Monte) Countess; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held July 19, 2025, at Coldwater Methodist Church and burial will follow at the Carter Cemetery.
