Henry Kenneth “Pal” Cranfill Obituary

Henry Kenneth “Pal” Cranfill, 87, of Taft, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Guntersville, Alabama, on Sept. 2, 1937, to the late Leroy Ernest and Lora Lewis Cranfill. Mr. Cranfill was a Veteran of the United States Army, retired from Amana, and was of the Church of Christ faith.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Faye King Cranfill; son, Mitchell (Susan) Cranfill; grandchildren, Jordie Hosch, Amber Hosch and Michael Cranfill; sisters, Peggy (David) Getto, Betty Boguszewski and Mary Windsor.

Mr. Cranfill is survived by his daughter, Tracie (Jeff) Norman; sons, Henry Kenneth “Kenny” (Becky) Cranfill Jr., Scott (Christy) Cranfill, Mark (Cheryl) Cranfill, and Michael Cranfill; grandchildren, Jeffrey Hosch, Jamo Norman, Anniston Norman, Rylann Hosch, William Payton, Jeffery Norman, Gus Norman, Henry KC Cranfill III, Kendall Wade Cranfill, Bristol Megan Cranfill, Paige Cranfill, Carter Hosch, Jaclyn Rose, Paul Cranfill, Andy (Ashley) Cranfill, Jesse Cranfill, Melanie Cranfill, Tiffany Cranfill, Timothy Cranfill, Robbie Cranfill, and Nicole Cranfill; numerous great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; sister, Alma (Edwin) Kennamer; and special friend, Paula Phillips.

Funeral services for Mr. Cranfill were held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with the Rev. Lon Ostryzcki officiating. Burial followed in Kirkland Cemetery.
