Vickie Jill Durham, 66, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, Oct. 27, 2025, at her residence.

She was born on Feb.14, 1959, daughter of the late Tom and Sarah Jean Patterson Simmons. Ms. Durham was a nurse’s aide. She also enjoyed puzzles, watching holiday cartoons and detective shows, and worked as a daycare teacher.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Ricky Simmons.

She is survived by her sons, Joseph (Alysha) Miles, Josh (Shannon) Hone, Thomas (Hollie) Miles and Jeffrey Miles; 10 grandchildren; sister, Lori (Mark) Edmunds; and brother, Tommy (Sheila) Simmons.

Funeral services were conducted on Friday, Oct. 31, 2025, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Patricia Moore and the Rev. Tim Shields officiating. Burial followed in Stewarts Cemetery.
