Robert Gary Rogers, 80, of Petersburg, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2026, at Donalson Care Center. He was born on April 25, 1945, in Decatur, Alabama, to the late Joseph Gatlin and Texas Anna Turner Rogers. He was retired from Heil Quaker.

Mr. Rogers is survived by his daughter, Joy Denise Honea of Normandy, Tennessee; son, Robert Weldon (Lora) Rogers of Manchester, Tennessee; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Peggy Cottingham of Decatur, Alabama, and Glenda Baugher of Hartselle, Alabama; brother, Billy Rogers of Lansing, Michigan; and his special companion, Rosemary.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Friday at Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home.
