Lincoln County has three youth athletes who have been chosen as USSSA All-Americans, including Ben Davis, Breanna Edwards, and Brinley Moran.

Ben is a seven grader at Flintville. He attended a tryout in Jonesboro, Ark., and was chosen as a direct selection to represent the Southeast in the 12U division. During the regular season, he plays for the Vandals Baseball Club based in Hazel Green, Ala.

Brenna, a fourth grader at Flintville, attended a tryout in Leesburg, Va., and was chosen as a direct selection to represent the Northeast in the 9U division. She plays for the Bulls based in Madison, Ala.

Brinley is a fourth grader at Highland Rim. She also attended the tryout in Leesburg and was chosen to play for the Northwest region in the 9U division. She also plays for the Bulls in Madison.

They will be traveling to Viera, Fla., to compete in the All-American Games, a national tournament made up of 16 teams, two from each of eight regions. Softball is July 30 through Aug 4, and baseball is Aug 4-11. The games will be streamed on usssalive.com.
