The Lincoln County Trap Team recently participated in the 2019 Academics, Integrity and Marksmanship (AIM) Tennessee State Championship at the Nashville Gun Club.

Over 292 youth shooters from across Tennessee participated in the two day-event. Events included single targets, double targets and handicap targets (distance varies dependent upon shooter’s skill level).

While no team awards were won by Lincoln County at the competition, there was an individual award and highlights. Michael Sisk won third place in the Junior singles competition, shooting 196 out of 200 targets. Wyatt Stewart earned his highest career scores in singles, doubles and handicaps.

The next big event for the team will be at the Grand National Youth Championship held at the World Shooting & Recreational Complex (WSRC) in Sparta, Ill.
