Fayetteville High School’s Tigers put some ink the history books for Tiger football Friday night with a 28-14 win over Cornersville.

The victory gives the program its first ever Region 5-A Championship title and a record of 7-0 with three out-of-region match-ups to play.

Following the overwhelming excitement of Friday night’s win, the community was dealt a painful blow Saturday afternoon when Tiger player Tate Tuten was lost in a tragic auto accident. Social media was overwhelmed with requests for prayers in support for the family, friends and teammates throughout the community.
