FHS baseball by the numbers

Fayetteville High School’s Tiger baseball team got the district sweep they needed last week, defeating Huntland on the road, 19-7, on Monday, following up with a 12-2 win at home on Tuesday. Fayetteville out hit the Hornets, 28-14, for the two-game series.

The Tigers’ overall record is 7-5 and 2-4 in district play.

Huntland (Game 1)

This week: The Tigers are out of district, hosting the Middle Tennessee Monarchs on Monday. Tuesday, they travel to take on the Huntsville Falcons (Old Butler High School). First pitch for both games is at 5:30 p.m. Friday, the Tigers travel to Giles County with a 6 p.m. start time.
