Fayetteville High School’s cross country program fared well in the TSSAA regional meet held last week at the Steeple Chase in Nashville.

As a result, two Lady Tigers, Isabella Martin and Meg O’Connor, qualified individually and are headed to the state championship to be held again at the Steeplechase in Nashville on Saturday.

In regional results, the boys finished eighth as a team.

Times are as follows: Isabella Martin, seventh, 23:42; Meg O’Connor, 10th, 24:05; Robbie McVey, 21st, 20:44; Matt Giffin, 30th, 21:07; Gaige Smith, 41st, 22:04; Jayden Fox, 58th, 23:12; Cade Hopkins, 88th, 28:02; and Jackson Killebrew, 89th, 28:04.
