The Riverside Christian Academy cross-country team ran a good race this season.

With an expanding meet schedule, team members had ample opportunity to show their strengths. Overall stats include team placements of first, second and third throughout the season and consistent improvement in personal record times.

High school runner Carson Goode overtook the lead runner to finish first in the final two races of the season. Carson won the Middle Tennessee Athletic Conference (MTAC) Championship with a personal record of 18:32 for the 5K. Carson also earned second place All-Conference.

Other top finishers in the championship were high schooler Alicia Lemley, who placed fifth with a personal record of 23:46, and middle schooler Reagan Conn, who placed fourth with her personal record of 14:20 in the 2 mile. These athletes were supported by a strong team, including top finishers Ian Bonner, Sabrina Rascoe, Kamden Speegle, Brighton Bain and Brinlee Bradford.

Of the 15 runners on the RCA team, eight earned All-Conference placement. To wrap up their winning season, Riverside brought home three third place team trophies.
