Fayetteville High School’s Lady Tigers split in action last week. Thursday, the ladies picked up a

Senior Night, out-of-district win at home over Mt. Pleasant, 61-31. Tuesday, they dropped a 57-31 road trip at Eagleville.

During their game with Mt. Pleasant, senior Carly Andrews reached the 500 career rebound mark. Andrews, the only senior for the Lady Tigers, was honored prior to the game, along with Matthew Giffin, videographer, and Tiger mascot Victor E, Seth Moyers.

With the regular season completed, Huntland goes into the District 8-A Tournament as the top seed, followed by Moore County, Eagleville, Fayetteville, Cascade and Cornersville. The Lady Tigers take on Cascade in the first round Monday night at 7:30 pm. Huntland is the host school, and admission is $6.
