Lady Falcons pick up pair of district wins

Lincoln County High School’s Lady Falcons picked up a pair of district wins last week.

Friday night, the ladies rolled over Franklin County at home, 62-27, after defeating Columbia, 57-27, on the road Tuesday.

Throughout the season, the ladies have played consistently on defense but struggled at times to put points on the board. Last week, the Lady Falcons outscored opponents, 119-54.

The ladies won their first meetings against both teams earlier in the season in nail biters, defeating Franklin County, 46-45, and the Lady Lions, 47-43.

Currently, the ladies are 6-5 in district action with one conference game remaining.
