LC tennis by the numbers

Lincoln County High School’s tennis team improved its record to 8-0 with three district wins last week. Thursday, the ladies won at home over Tullahoma, 5-2, and Wednesday, won a road trip at Shelbyville, 6-1, after defeating Lawrence County, 6-1, on Tuesday.

Tullahoma

Individuals: Lucy Higgins, 8-4; Julia Marsh, 5-8; Claire Mullins 8-3; Carlie Mullins 2-8; Chloe Bridge, 8-1.

Doubles: Higgins/Mullins, 8-2; Mullins/Smith, 6-2.

Shelbyville

Individuals: Lucy Higgins, 8-5; Julia Marsh, 8-1; Claire Mullins, 8-2; Carlie Mullins, 8-5; Chloe Bridge, 8-5.

Doubles: Higgins/Marsh, 8-4; Mullins/Bridge, 5-8.

Lawrence County

Individuals: Lucy Higgins, 8-4; Julia Marsh, 8-4; Claire Mullins, 8-0; Carlie Mullins, 8-4; Chloe Bridge, 8-1.

Doubles: Higgins/Marsh, 8-1; Womble/Morris 5-8.

This Week: The ladies travel to Coffee County on Monday. Tuesday, they travel to Marshall County; the rainout game with the Lady Tigers will also be completed that day. Match times are at 4 p.m.
