South Lincoln’s Lady Eagles finished in the top spot of the Tennessee Middle School Athletic Association Middle TN East Area Championship held at Lincoln County High School last week.

The ladies defeated Huntland’s Lady Hornets in a barnburner, 34-32.

The Lady Eagles advanced to the championship game with a 38-35 win over Eagleville in the semi-finals. The Lady Hornets advanced defeating Unity, 39-23, in the semi-finals.

Receiving All-Tournament honors from South Lincoln were Sage Ogle, Molly Brown and Allie Bonner. Brown was named tournament MVP. From Huntland, Baily Morris, Hazel Reed and Tatianna Stovall were name to the All-Tournament team.
