Tigers by the numbers

Fayetteville’s Tigers (now 8-2) split in action last week. Friday, FHS won on the road over Mt. Pleasant, 85-45, in an out-of-district match-up. But, Tuesday the Tigers dropped a district decision on the road to Cascade, 56-52.

Seeding: Following the coaches’ meeting held last Saturday, the seeding for the District 8-A Tournament is as follows: (1) Eagleville; (2) Fayetteville; (3) Cascade; (4) Huntland; (5) Moore County; (6) Cornersville. The Tigers two seed earned them a bye to the semifinals to be played Thursday at 7:30 p.m. The consolation game and championship will be played on Saturday at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Cornersville is the host school for the tournament.
