Fayetteville High School has been picked as the finalist in four categories of Varsity Brands’ Most Spirited School awards.
“These are national awards, and Fayetteville is so proud to be picked among some of the largest schools in the nation,” said Lisa Moyers. “The awards are not new to Fayetteville High School as Victor E. Tiger, the mascot, has been a finalist for the past three years and won it his first year.”
The categories and finalists follow: Most Spirited Mascot, Seth Moyers; Most Spirited Coach, Kenny Morson; Most Spirited Athlete, Jacious Clark; and Spirit of Sportsmanship, Fayetteville High School Cheerleaders.
The awards show will be held at Disney World in Orlando, Fla., on May 9.
