Lincoln County High School’s Falcons took a tough loss in their district opener at home against Tullahoma Friday night.

After a slow start and losing leading scorer Ben Bassham in the second quarter due to injury, LCHS took it down to the wire. With the score knotted at 50-50, the Falcons were tagged with a foul with one second remaining in the game. Tullahoma’s Krys Uselton made the front end of a one-and-one from the line, giving the Wildcats the win, 51-50.

The Falcons were scheduled to travel to Shelbyville on Tuesday of last week but that game was postponed due to weather and is rescheduled for Tuesday of this week starting at 6 p.m.
