LC baseball by the numbers

Lincoln County High School’s Falcon baseball team split in district action last week with Lawrence County. Tuesday, the Falcons won at home over the Wildcats, 12-3. Wednesday, they dropped a 4-3 eight-inning battle on the road for the second game of the series.

Friday, the Falcons went down on the road to Grissom, 7-5.

Lawrence County (Game 1)

This week: The Falcons host Tullahoma on Tuesday before traveling to meet the ‘Cats in the second game of the series on Wednesday. First pitch is at 6 p.m.

Friday Lincoln County will host Giles County in the 9th Annual Lighthouse Classic. All proceeds from the game will be donated to the Giles and Lincoln County chapters of “Clothe our Kids”.

Activities get underway at 12:30 p.m. with first pitch at 1 p.m.
