Bates Landscaping recently captured the 2019 ISA Recreation Men’s Softball Tournament title, earning a spot of distinction on the sign at Don Davidson Complex. The team played in Nashville and was undefeated going into the winners’ bracket finals. After a rainout, play was moved to Murfreesboro, where Bates Landscaping lost its first game, 7-6. The team had to play three more games to get to the championship and once again face the team that had defeated them earlier. Bates bounced back and beat their opponent 9-8 in the first game and 18-8 to win it all. There were 17 teams in the same class as Bates Landscaping from all over the state of Tennessee and a few from Kentucky participating in the tournament.
