Barnes harvests elk

Stewart Barnes, a 13-year-old from Kelso, was successful with a Kentucky elk tag by harvesting a cow elk in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky. Stewart won the opportunity to hunt elk in a lottery-style drawing where only 70 tags were awarded to non-residents out of approximately 30,000 applicants. Stewart was accompanied by his dad, Chris Barnes, and good friends, Jeff Swinford and Craig Combs of Fayetteville.
