Coach Chad Tipps took his Lady Falcons to Clements, Alabama, over the Thanksgiving break where the Falcons played three games in three days in the round robin tournament.
Lincoln County met the Lexington Golden Bears in the first game. Behind Annalise Malone’s 19 points, Lincoln County cruised past the Bears, 60-40. Abby Bryan and Anna Kate Cooper also chipped in nine points each in the win.
Next, the Falcons squared off with the Elkmont Red Devils. After a tight first quarter, Lincoln County led 21-16. The Falcons stepped on the gas and outscored the Devils 53-25 the rest of the way and cruised to a 74-41 win. Malone led the Falcons with 20 points, followed by Molly Brown with 13 points and Alyssa Petty with 11.
On the last day of the tourney, Lincoln County played the Hatton Hornets. The Falcons jumped all over the Hornets early building a 17-1 lead after the first quarter. Hatton never got back in the game and fell to the Falcons, 52-28. Brown had 12 points for Lincoln County and Bryan had 11. The impressive Lady Falcons outscored their opponents 186-109 in the tournament. The Falcons ran their record to 4-0 and look to remain perfect when they host the Giles County Bobcats on Dec. 3.
