Lady Tigers play full slate of games

Fayetteville High School’s Tyra Haston heads back to the dugout after scoring for the Lady Tigers and is congratulated by Coach Melissa Good and teammate Kinsley Bryan. The Lady Tigers hosted Eagleville in softball action last week.

 

Despite some severe weather that canceled games last week, Fayetteville High School’s Lady Tigers still managed to get in a full slate of action when Mother Nature cooperated.

Early in the week, the Lady Tigers fell to a tough Eagleville team, 11-1. On the following night, the Lady Tigers got behind early in a 20-8 loss to Madison Academy before losing a heartbreaker in the following game against Madison County, losing the lead late in the game in a 9-8 defeat. Fayetteville lost another close contest on Friday, falling 15-14 to Mt. Pleasant.

This week, the ladies will face Moore County on Monday night at home before traveling to meet the Lady Raiders the following night.
