The 18th Annual Tee Off for Progress golf tournament, a fund-raising event sponsored by the Fayetteville-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau, will be held Friday, July 13, at Pebble Creek Golf Club.
“Tee Off for Progress is a major fundraising event for the Chamber to allow us to meet our annual budget and provide valuable services to our membership and community,” said Carolyn Denton, executive director of the Chamber.
Members of the tournament committee are Chairman Dan Holt, Lyman Cox, Jeff Whitmore, Jason Nix and Bill Parsons.
Team fee with mulligans included is $440, $110 for an individual player. The cost includes greens fees, cart, lunch, swag bag, sips and snacks, entry for prizes and three contests.
Tee off is at 8:30 a.m. at Pebble Creek, located at 2216 Lewisburg Highway. Breakfast will begin at 8 a.m. and is sponsored by Shoney’s. Lunch is sponsored by First National Bank. Sip and snacks cart is sponsored by State Sen. Shane Reeves and State Rep. Pat Marsh.
All players will be eligible to win one of two grand prizes, a 2018 Pebble Creek golf membership or a flat screen television, sponsored by Lincoln Health System, Bank of Lincoln County, Better Business Bureau and Farm Bureau Park City. You must be present to win.
Players can also be the lucky winner of the hole-in-one vehicle sponsored by Carriage Chevrolet.
Closest to the Pin contest is sponsored by Edward Jones/John Karby, and the Chipping Contest is sponsored by The Elk Valley Times.
