The Fayetteville Parks and Recreation Department, along with HFR Design, will host a public meeting Monday, Aug. 19, for the purpose of gathering input on all aspects of the ongoing recreation and aquatic center feasibility study.
The meeting will get underway at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, at the Fayetteville Recreation Center at 1203 Winchester Hwy.
“The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the procedures for the Recreation and Aquatic Center Feasibility Study and to seek public input on all aspects of the study,” the city stated in a notice urging participation.
Ultimately, the study is aimed at helping the city determine how to proceed with planning, funding and creating a multi-generational recreation and aquatic center that meets current needs and anticipated growth. When the city contracted with HFR Design out of Brentwood, the study called for market, financial, and cost analyses. For questions or comments, you can contact the recreation center at 931-433-6059.
