“Wild Bill” as he was affectionately and professionally known was a farm boy with a passion for radio broadcasting. He and Elaine established WIXC 1140 AM, in the early 1970s where his legendary “Rollin’ Home with Bill Malone” show gained increasing popularity.
Bill enjoyed a broadcasting career that spanned seven decades. His iconic voice and love of country, gospel and rock ‘n’ roll music will always be remembered by all who knew him. In his own words … “10-8.”
Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of William Lee “Bill" Malone.
