Willard Eugene “Curly” Keller, 92, of Fayetteville, passed away on Thursday (Nov. 1, 2018) in Shelbyville. He was born in Asheville, N.C., on July 17, 1926 to the late Charles A. & Flosie Metcalf Keller. Mr. Keller was a veteran of the United States Army, a member of the American Legion, a former post commander of VFW Post 2167 and a member of the Brogan Avenue Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dovie Gautney Keller; two sisters, Louise Durham and Clara Mae Hall; and three brothers, Billy Keller, Rubin Keller and Russell Keller. Mr. Keller is survived by three daughters, Mary Beth Rinehart of Belleview, Fla., Martha Ann (Bill) Tallarita of Crete, Ill., and Moneca Lynn (Danny) Bell of Hernando, Miss.; son, Charles Bruce Keller of Fayetteville; sister, Betty Joe (Jim) Whoric of Tullahoma; eleven grandchildren, Nessa Wharton, Michelle Rinehart, Tony Tallarita, Heather (Dominick) Guire, Carrie (Tim) Rutherford, Angie Tallarita, Dan David Bell, Jon Morgan Bell, Aaron (Leeann) Keller, Ashleigh (David) Cutlip and Willard (Terra) Burm; 18 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones from the community. Funeral services will be Thursday, Nov. 8, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Danny Bell, Charles Keller and Bro. Ed Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home. Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
