Wanda Glynn Thompson Obituary

Wanda Glynn Thompson, 70, of Fayetteville, passed away on Thursday, (April 15, 2021) at St. Thomas West Hospital. She was born in Lincoln County, TN on January 24, 1951 to J.W. ‘Dub’ and Glennis Hirlston Reavis. She was a homemaker and an animal lover. She enjoyed reading and watching her grandsons and great grandsons play baseball. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Michelle Newgent; sister, Donna Young; and granddaughter, Deona Newgent. Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband, Raymond Thompson; daughters, Lisa Newgent and Tracy Newgent both of Fayetteville; son, Robert Newgent of Fayetteville; grandchildren: Natasha Jones, Dakota Jones, Rainna Quinlan and Trevor Feltman; great grandchildren: Dayton, Hayden, Tevin, Camden, Jailyn and Bryson; sister, Nancy and Charles Linder of Georgia; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Prospect Cemetery with Rev. Billy Moore officiating. Visitation is Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home.
